Future Of The Left Cancel UK Tour

Band to work on new album

Posted 21st November 2008, 8:47pm in News, by Ruth Offord
Future Of The Left All Future Of The Left tour dates have been cancelled for the year, the band has announced.

In a statement issued today the group express their apologies for the cancellations, saying they need the time to work on their second album.

The band said: "We are unfortunately having to pull all shows for the foreseeable future. This is because our busy year has meant we have been unable to write the second record and we are increasingly aware of the need to do so. We want to get it out before summer so we can spend next year playing it to people. It is against everything the band stands for to pull shows, or anything that we have already committed to doing, and we apologise to everyone who had bought a ticket or was going to come along. We will be back as soon as we can next year and we promise to make it worth the wait."

The affected dates are-

November

21 Birmingham Rainbow
22 London Mean Fiddler
23 Castleford Xscape
24 Newcastle Cluny
25 Glasgow Nice'N' Sleazys
26 Hereford Jailhouse
27 London Amersham Arms
