Glastonbury won't be banning flags at this year's event, following the results of a poll on the festival's website.
Attendees were asked to vote on if flags should be banned at this June's Glasto, and over 13,000 people voted. The results were:
No, keep the flags (7,269 votes) – 55 per cent
Yes, ban the flags (5,909 votes) – 45 per cent
Duplicate votes were not counted, according to the site.
Obviously, this now conclusively proves that anyone who is a) short and b) voted yes is no longer allowed to complain about tall people at gigs at fear of being called a massive hypocrite. Glad that's sorted, then.
This year's Glastonbury takes place on June 25-27, and will be headlined by U2, Muse and perhaps even Stevie Wonder. Bet he didn't see that one coming, etc, etc.
