Hurrah for good news! Mr Panda is releasing stuff and doing things!

Gold Panda is great. We know this, because at one point we almost officially renamed Twitter 'The Gold Panda Fanclub', but Twitter said no.

YAYSOME THING NUMBER 1!
There's going to be a 7" vinyl single of 'You' available via GP's own NOTOWN label on April 19th. It will be backed with another as yet untitled track, and there's going to be the first ever remix of Gold Panda, by Dam Mantle; he's from Glasgow and is Very Good Indeed.

There's going to be a debut album 'in the summer'. More on that in good time, we'd wager.

Before all of this there's touring! A month in Japan playing headline shows and supporting Simian Mobile Disco, then a first leading man jaunt around the UK. After all that, dates across Europe with Caribou. Phew! Those dates in full:
