Guillemots’ Fyfe Solo Record

Guillemots Guillemots frontman Fyfe will soon release a solo record.

In a mailout to fans, he reveals: "In the new year I have a record of my own coming out, called 'Fly Yellow Moon' - it's 10 songs that I recorded, mainly, just before last Christmas, with a few additions this year, nothing fancy, just some songs I'd written that I wanted to put down very quickly, and they somehow seemed like they weren't really Guillemots songs. I'm really chuffed it's coming out."

"Guillemots are alive and well," he adds. "We've been writing tonnes of new music and songs for our next record, and we're now starting to meet producers and make the first steps towards getting into a studio to start recording it! Which is all very exciting, it almost feels as if we're starting over again."
