The 54th Ivor Novello Awards took place yesterday at the Grosvenor House in London, celebrating Britain's songwriting and composing talents (and The Ting Tings, as it turns out).Elbow walked away with two gongs for 'One Day Like This' and 'Grounds For Divorce', whilst Jonny Greenwood was recognised for his work on the 'There Will Be Blood' soundtrack. Coldplay won the award for the best selling British song with 'Viva La Vida'.
