Though '3 AM' is pretty much a million miles away from the gruff and growl of 'Under-Estimate The Girl', the new single - out 18th February - sees Kate continue to explore a much different sound to her earlier recordings; a happy medium between the two, perhaps.
Much like EP track 'Fri-end?' (the video for which is below), at the heart of '3 AM' is a strong, catchy pop melody, built around repetive and enjoyable guitar and bass parts - check it out on SoundCloud after it debuted on BBC 6 Music.
The new album from Kate, who last year also made a surprise guest appearance on a song with FIDLAR, 'Girl Talk' is set for release on 3rd March.
She's also set to play at London's Sebright Arms on 13th February, with a full UK tour expected to be announced soon.
