Having taken to destroying venues alongside Savages late last year, there seems to have been no stopping these London lads in their mission to reignite the flame of guitar music. First, they caused quite a stir by supplying us with the Clash-esque 'Best Of Friends', before their next offering, 'Last Of The Summer Wine', felt like the perfect modern guitar anthem (complete with a rain-sodden video that any British band would be proud of).
Since then, they've announced the release of their debut full-length, '180' - obviously named after the studio where they spent both their days and nights messily partying - on Rough Trade Records, appeared on Jools bloody Holland and have in the process, become really quite infamous for their live shows.
Now, here they are again, giving us another track to pin all of our rock 'n roll hopes on. This time, it comes in the form of the wonderfully titled 'Step Up For The Cool Cats', which is set to be the band's next single.
Have a listen to the track below.
Palma Violets are set to release their debut album '180' on 25th February through Rough Trade Records.
