Live At Leeds Announce Initial Line-Up

The first few acts to be announced include Example, Marina & The Diamonds, Ladyhawke and Los Campesinos!

Marina & The Diamonds Live At Leeds 2012 have released their initial line-up, which includes the likes of Example, Marina & The Diamonds, Ladyhawke and Los Campesinos!

The full list of other acts confirmed for the festival is as follows: The Subways, Dot Rotten, Friends, Howler, I Like Trains, Jamie N Commons, Lianne La Havas, Niki & the Dove, Ren Harvieu, Reverend & The Makers, Spector, Adult Jazz, Alt-J, Aluna George, Another’s Blood, Binary, Charli XCX, Citizens!, Dan Mangan, Fanzine, Grass House, Gross Magic, Hannah Trigwell, Holy State, Hunting Bears, Jake Bugg, Jessie Ware, Joseph & David, Just Handshakes We’re British, Moody Gowns, Novella, Random Impulse, Redwire, Royal Republic, Sam Airey, S.C.U.M, Soul Circus, The History of Apple Pie, This Many Boyfriends, TOY and Turbowolf.

Now, in its 6th year the festival takes place over the bank holiday on 4th to the 7th May.

Saturday features the Live at Leeds Festival (one wristband 100 bands, 11 stages, 9 Venues) while also hosting the return of the Millennium Square shows. Sunday’s hangover music event with BBC Sound nominees Stooshe playing the Cockpit brings the weekend of live music to a close. More artists are to be announced for the festival in coming months.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (31st January) from midday.
