Maximo Park Album Won’t Be Out ‘For A While’ Yet
'In the can' album may be finished but it still needs work.
Maximo Park frontman Paul has issued an update to yesterday's statement that the band's third studio album is finished, saying that whilst the recording part is complete there's still work to be done and it won't be released for a while yet.
He's said in the band's blog: "Yo! Even though recording is complete, Nick has to mix and master the album, which isn't going to happen for a while.
I wasn't planning on visiting MySpace so soon after my last post, but David, from our manager's office called me up and told me he'd been besieged (!) by people calling the office to ask when the album was out. I had no idea so many people cared! Or were checking our internet sites! Ha ha! Anyway, for Dave's sanity, I thought I'd clarify matters."
So for all those reading, no more phoning Dave!
