Menomena Lose Member, Reissue Debut, Tour

According to a post on their website, multi-instrumentalist Brent Knopf has left Menomena.

Menomena According to a post on their website, multi-instrumentalist Brent Knopf has left Menomena.

Knopf is reported to be departing to focus on his other musical project Ramona Falls, as well as "other creative pursuits". In the post, the band state they "want to thank Brent for his vast con­tri­bu­tions over the years and wish him noth­ing but hap­pi­ness in all of his future endeav­ors."

Paul Alcott will step into the void for Menomena's upcoming dates, which include Australian and US jaunts and appearances at both SXSW and Coachella.

In other news, Menomena are set to reissue their 2003 debut 'I Am The Fun Blame Monster' as a CD/DVD package at some point this spring.
