Mondays: we're always up before the other newshounds.

Sometimes news is news, but isn't news. This, and other such nonsensical editorial discussions has brought us to News Bites - the daily article where we direct you to the stories we can't (or can't be bothered) to scrape together enough words from to form an article. This page will be updated throughout the day with anything 'happening', so keep coming back. Please? We'll beg if we have to.
15:51 Sorry, newsters, we've been 'in meetings', so we've got catch up to do. We really need relief hounds for this feature. Regardless, some news we can get rid of Rialto for! Delphic announce May UK gigs and ticket details [NME]
11:23 Tickets for Offset go on sale this Wednesday, but as there's no artists announced yet, we can't really get rid of Rialto. We can see this being a running theme.
11:07 News roundup! There's still nothing worth shifting Rialto for!

09:00 Ah, it's Monday. DIY has been tapping away since the early hours and quite frankly, has probably scraped the news we missed from last week into proper stories all set to appear over the rest of today. That's all Monday morning news tends to be, after all - the stuff we missed last week that someone pointed out. Industry secret. Can you imagine anyone actually doing anything interesting between 6pm on a Friday and 9am on a Monday? Not including your mate who got off with that bloke at the... yeah, you get the picture.
Still, We Are Scientists did play a surprise gig at The Barfly last night. Surprise in the way that everyone knew it was happening all of last week, but still. And Abbey Road is no longer for sale. Or never was. Or something. We're confused. Number one in the album charts are the kids from Glee (which is amazing, or at least was while it was our little guilty stateside secret - we sense this is about to change thanks to people), and that charity effort from Cowell is top of the singles effort. Sorry if that doesn't sound too reverential, just we tend not to need to buy a single to donate to charity.
This is turning into a bit of an epic and we still don't have anyone to put a pretty picture of at the top. It's times like this we need to break out the emergency britpop picture library, at least until we have someone else to shove in there. Today has started well, with a nice photo of Rialto.
