Editors Sometimes news is news, but isn't news. This, and other such nonsensical editorial discussions has brought us to News Bites - the daily article where we direct you to the stories we can't (or can't be bothered) to scrape together enough words from to form an article.

This page will be updated throughout the day with anything 'happening', so keep coming back. Please? We'll beg if we have to.

Sound the 'bloody hell' alarm! Isle Of Wight festival is making it's best stab at beered up lad fun, adding The Courteeners (or The New Shed Seven, as we're insisting on) to their line up. Other bands include Editors, Noah & The Whale and Devendra Banhart. The latter must think he's really playing the other festival on the island, or he has a truckload of Cathedral City left to shift.

Who wants a Faithless mega-mix? Errrrrrrrrrr. Have it anyway.

Who put us in Really Bloody Silly Land? Frank Turner is headlining Brixton Academy later in the year? FOR SERIOUS? We put him on in the bloody Buffalo Bar once.

Offset tickets are on sale now. They're special Loyalty efforts. Insert a joke about Ashley Cole here. Buy Offset Tickets

Muse slam their label over free music streaming stance. SLAM. SLAM! Sometimes, I wonder if some music journalists are a bit... y'know.... OTT. For the record, they just think it's Probably Not The Best Idea. [NME]
