Nirvana Members Reunite At Foo Fighters Secret Show

The surviving members of Nirvana reunited earlier this week, performing together for the first time since the death of frontman Kurt Cobain.

Foo Fighters The surviving members of Nirvana reunited earlier this week, performing together for the first time since the death of frontman Kurt Cobain.

Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and former Nirvana touring guitarist Pat Smear appeared at a barely announced Foo Fighters show in California. The trio played one song - 'Marigold', the b-side to 'Heart-Shaped Box', with Grohl taking lead vocals whilst drumming.

The Foo Fighters also premiered tracks from their forthcoming seventh album, which features Novoselic on one track and is produced by 'Nevermind' producer Butch Vig. Grohl suggested the album may be titled 'Back + Forth'.

The audience on the night included Amanda Seyfried and Juliette Lewis. The show was filmed for a future full length documentary.
