Glasgow two-piece Midnight Lion have been kind enough to give DIY the premiere of their 2012-concluding mixtape. 'Slo Jamz' is eight minutes of cover versions, making glorious transitions between the likes of Solange and Jessie Ware to form a neat bow on the year departing.

From what we can decipher, the ambitious creation masterfully goes from Usher to Solange to Jessie Ware to fellow Scots Chvrches, before delving into reinterpretations of Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and Haim, and right back to Usher's 'Climax'. It's an utterly bonkers, eclectic mixtape, worthy of rounding off every music listener's 2012.
