Sheffield indie pop-types Standard Fare are back with their second album; titled 'Out Of Sight, Out Of Town', it follows on from 2010’s 'The Noyelle Beat' and is due via Melodic Records on 12th December.

The very first track fans can hear from it is called 'Darth Vadar', and you can give it a listen below - exclusively on DIY.

Speaking about their return, and new record, singer / bassist Emma Cooper says: "We're now in our mid twenties – not young and not old, not yet with kids but starting to earn money, starting to see how we fit into the wider world and how we feel about this. The album's lyrics are a bit more mature than our debut – we didn't want to just write about our romantic failures and frustrations, although they're hard to avoid!"

Worked on with producer Alan Smyth at 2fly in Sheffield, the album was recorded over a period of just eleven days. Featured guests include a trumpet player (Brad San Martin from One Happy Island) and violinist (Emily Gunn from Nat Johnson & The Figureheads).
