It's Wednesday, the Brit Awards are done, and Radiohead week can start up again. With Monday's news new record 'The King Of Limbs' will drop this weekend comes a whole avalanche (or at very least a consistent trickle) of new information, and today is no different.
First things first, the band have released a new press shot (see above). Encamped in the forest with not one but TWO hats, Razorlight are reported to be heading to the nearest milliners to up their game post haste.
Elsewhere, the band's manager Chris Hufford has described the band's release plan for 'The King Of Limbs' as a "logical progression" from 'In Rainbows'.
Speaking to Music Week, Hufford said: "Our allegiances are to the band. We manage Radiohead, we don’t manage retail or labels, we just manage the band and are just trying to do the best possible thing to allow another brilliant record to be embraced by the fanbase."
Information fans should heed the words of Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, who - posting via his Soonermusic.com site suggests more information can be expected Friday. A full tracklisting perhaps? Will the excitement never end?
UPDATE: We've just received a bit more information about the new press shot, and it's all quite interesting. Apparently it was created by Sebastian Edge on Valentine's Day in Oxford, using a 19th century self-built camera, and an exposure of almost two minutes - which means, we imagine, it must have been a bit like playing musical statues, without the music.
