Silver Columns, Charlotte Hatherley & More Collaborate To Revive Classic Albums

The JD Set have invited a selection of artists to collaborate and revive three influential albums.

Charlotte Hatherley The JD Set have invited a selection of artists to collaborate and revive three influential albums: the artists and bands involved will work on the material together in the studio, then they will take it to the stage.

For the first set, Infadels, The Shortwave Set, Kids On Bridges and Shy Child will all collaborate on The Human League’s 'Dare', which they will perform at Dingwalls in Camden on 5th May.

The next leg will take place in Manchester (27th May, at Band On The Wall), with ex-Smiths drummer Mike Joyce, The Whip, Dutch Uncles, John Cooper Clarke, I Am Kloot and Charlotte Hatherley, who will re-create the Buzzcocks' EP 'Spiral Scratch'.

Glasgow, meanwhile, will see Silver Columns, Malcolm Middleton, thecocknbullkid, James Yuill and Casiokids work on Madonna's album 'The Best of...'. They will play at the O2 ABC2 on 17th June.
