Simian Mobile Disco are going to launch a short film entitled 'A Study After Cruel Intentions', a collaboration between the duo, Wichita Recordings, producer Saam Farahmand and Partizan Productions, inspired by their forthcoming single ‘Cruel Intentions’. The film, starring
Talking about the film, SMD have said: "In a world where music video's are becoming less and less relevant, the idea of doing something that was born from the song but stands as a work in its own right really appealed to us. We are also great believers in giving directors carte blanche and when someone like Saam takes the ball and really runs with it, we love it. You can watch the film over on Pitchfork, here. The single itself is released on 4th January.
