SXSW Announce Third Wave Of Acts: Vampire Weekend, Icona Pop & More
One of the largest music festivals in the US has announced another slew of musicians to help celebrate its 27th birthday.

Other than maybe barbecue food and cowboy hats, Austin, Texas is best known for one thing in particular: South By Southwest Festival.Having begun in 1987, the Austin event has quickly become one of the largest music festivals in the US, playing host to over 2,000 artists in ninety venues. Taking over the entire town, there's all manner of shows, parties and conferences over the five day period and this year - its 27th birthday - seems no different.
Having already scheduled in the likes of Alt-J, Fear of Men, Haim, Wavves, The Joy Formidable and Everything Everything, SXSW has now announced its third wave of acts.
The time around, they've revealed that the additions include (the return of) Vampire Weekend, Icona Pop, Eddi Front, Local Natives, Frightened Rabbit, Black Lips and Tegan and Sara among others.
