The Drums Do you remember when The Drums said that they were going to remain a three-member band? Well, that's not technically true.

Speaking in a recent interview with NME, the band declared how they'd be joined on their hectic tour schedule by an additional guitarist and drummer.

The band's previous drummer, Connor Hanwick, will switch to being the band's guitarist to accommodate new drummer Chris Stein joining the band.

Myles Matheny (ex-Violens) will also be performing as The Drums' new guitarist, following the departure of Adam Kessler in September last year.

Founding member Jacob Graham will now be playing synthesizers.

Singer Jonathan Pierce said of the changes: "The spirit of the band is the same, but the line-up has changed.

"There are no more backing tracks. It's such a pain to bring them on the road and the show is better now than ever."
