The Drums Temporarily Replace Guitarist

A friend of the band will fill Adam's slot for the duration of the tour.

The Drums It wasn't particularly good timing for The Drums when their guitarist Adam left last week, what with them being in the middle of a tour with Surfer Blood. So, they've brought in a temporary replacement.

Frontman Jonathan Pierce told NME that band friend Tom Haslow will play with them on their current US tour.

Speaking of the departure last week, the band said: "There have been some questions as to recent events and we are sorry to say that Adam has left The Drums. Jonny, Jacob and Connor are devastated and are keeping to themselves and with friends at this time. The band are currently on the road in America. Thank you for all of the support, it means a lot."
