The Futureheads have nearly finished working on their as-yet-untitled fourth album."We've recorded a dozen songs, mostly with our pal David Brewis of Field Music and School of Language fame and a couple of belters with Youth who recorded [last single] 'This Is Not The World'," they tell fans in their mail out. "Another recording session next week will see the album finished and ready for release early 2010!"
The record will follow their 2004 self-titled debut, 2006's 'News and Tributes' and 2008's 'This Is Not the World'.
In other news, the band will also be playing at a Spit Festival in Sunderland on 4th October, alongside the likes of Field Music and Frankie and the Heartstrings.
