The Hold Steady 'A Positive Rage' is The Hold Steady's new live DVD and CD combo which will be released next month (April).

The DVD features a 53-minute documentary which includes never-before-seen live footage, back stage interviews and fan commentary, whilst the live album was recorded on 31st October 2007 and features songs from the second night at the band's two-night residency at the Metro in Chicago. An enhanced CD will also feature five bonus studio tracks.

Well, if you're lucky enough to be in the States you get the opportunity to watch special screenings of the DVD on 6th April. The free shows are at:

- 7th St., 701 1st Ave N., Minneapolis, MN
- Bottom Lounge, Chicago, IL: Screenings before and after a set from Glasvegas
