The Killers are set to hit the studio next week, according to drummer Ronnie Vannucci.

The Killers The Killers are set to hit the studio next week, according to drummer Ronnie Vannucci.

Currently promoting his upcoming solo album 'Big Talk', Vannucci told XFM: "Tuesday, I think we start doing some writing. We all have stuff... piles of songs we want to show each other. We want to get back in the studio and start writing."

The Killers return from a year long live hiatus in June, with a slot at London's Hard Rock Calling Festival.
