The White Stripes The White Stripes and Paramore are amongst the acts taking part in a new tribute album for legendary singer/songwriter Loretta Lynn.

The acts will join Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Gretchen Wilson, Allison Moorer, and Lee Ann Womack on the record, titled 'Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn'.

“I am so happy that these singers wanted to do this record,” said Lynn via her official website. “I love ‘em all, and it was so great to hear all the different ways they did my hits… I hope people like it as much as I do and we sell a bunch of records!!”

There's no word on if the tracks are new recordings or not, with The White Stripes previously covering Lynn's 'Rated X' for a live b-side on 'Hotel Yorba'. Jack White previously played guitar and produced Lynn's 2004 offering 'Van Lear Rose'.
