The xx Start Recording New Album

The band have revealed that they've started work on a new album.

The XX The xx have revealed via Facebook that they've started work on a new album.

"We have started recording our second album!," they say. "We have also started a blog where we will post our inspirations + pictures + favourite songs. We hope you enjoy it! Lots of Love, The xx"

The blog, which currently only contains the same message as their Facebook, can be found at xx-xx.co.uk.

The xx released their self-titled debut album, 'xx', in 2009. Jamie xx has since released a remix album with Gil Scott-Heron, 'We're New Here'.
