War Child Team Up With MOJO For Charity Music Auction

A signed Gibson Guitar will be auctioned off.

Devo For the fifth consecutive year, War Child and MOJO have teamed up to raise a bit of money: MOJO Les Paul Award sponsors, Gibson Guitar, have donated a brand new Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Goldtop signed by many of the musicians who attended the awards.

These include Jimmy Page, Richard Thompson, Richard Hawley, Bill Nelson, Devo and Duane Eddy.

Also up for grabs are a whole heap of scale model Ford Transit vans each signed by an artist attending the MOJO Honours List event: Kasabian, Jarvis Cocker, Sigur Ros, Antony Hegarty, Sir Peter Blake, Phil Selway (Radiohead), Martha & Rufus Wainright, Paloma Faith, Alex James, Jean Michel Jarre and Midlake.

Bidding will open on Thursday 15th July at 8pm and close on Sunday 25th July, find out more about it here.

The money raised will go to supporting War Child’s work with children who have been caught up in war and its consequences.
