Belle and Sebastian We're all obsessed with being first. First to find a new band, first to hear the big news, first to listen to that new track. Well, for once, you actually can do the latter, almost literally.

Belle & Sebastian are offering one fan the chance to hear the title track and first single from new album 'Write About Love' 24 hours before anyone outside of their nearest and dearest. In their own words:

"We will mail an mp3 of the song to a randomly selected follower on Monday (6th) and they will be the only person outside the band and those closest to them to hear/ own a digital copy of the song for 24 hours. It will be the winner’s choice what to do with it ahead of release. They can keep it to themselves in the knowledge that no-one else has it; share it with their friends; hold a listening party at their home or they could let the world either hear it or hear all about it online (and see if we get upset in the process!) – the choice is entirely theirs..."

All you have to do is follow @bellesglasgow on Twitter, and post one message with the hashtag #writeaboutlove. “The content of the message is entirely up to you: it could be to share the TV show (more on that later - Ed) with your followers, or be more generally about the band or the album – it is up to you,” the band suggest.

The winner will also receive a finished vinyl and CD copy of the album ahead of release, and "other assorted B&S goodness".

The band have also produced a "televisual transmission", featuring performances of new songs 'I Want The World To Stop' and 'I Didn't See It Coming'. You can watch that below:
