Weezer are to let US fans get hold of new album 'Hurley' early at a series of listening parties.

Weezer Weezer are to let US fans get hold of new album 'Hurley' early at a series of listening parties.

On Friday 10th September (that's this Friday, folks) all PacSun locations in the USA and Puerto Rico will be hosting special events, playing the record in it's entirety with special commentary by the band added "for your edification and enjoyment". After they've finished, the album and some limited edition Weezer merch will be available.

Some locations will also be giving away special T-Shirts for the first 100 fans.

Weezer are also set to appear on Jay Leno on Wednesday September 15th, and have released the video below as an ad for the album. That kid, basically, is recreating what Rivers did at Reading 2010. Amazing.
