Weezer To Play Sonisphere 2011

Four new acts due to play the summer festival.

Weezer Four new additions have been made to the Sonisphere Knebworth line-up.

Weezer head up the list (as far as we're concerned, anyway) with the other acts set to play being Architects, Airbourne and Diamond Head.

According to the press release, the festival will be Weezer's "only English festival appearance of 2011" - whether that means they'll appear at T in the Park this June or they meant to write "British" after all, we don't yet know.

Sonisphere Knebworth takes place at Knebworth House between 8th and 10th July. Tickets are on sale now.

Artists already confirmed to appear at the festival include Biffy Clyro and Metallica.
