Because Music (because.tv) will be releasing a compilation on 13th July entitled 'Edges - A New French Electronic Revolution', featuring a range of up and coming French producers such as Breakbot, Spitzer and StereoHeroes (you can download it here).

We've managed to grab a few of the producers who feature on the record to recommend some music to us. First off, we've got Mondkopf, whose track 'Chaos Is Mine' is on the album.

The Chameleons - Script Of The Bridge

Some epic 80s post punk that make you shiver.

Liars - Drum's Not Dead

Some hopeless druggy rock.

Santogold - Santogold

I was a bit reticent at the beginning but this is the pop I like, fresh and singular.

DJ Sprinkles - Midtown 120 Blues

Some melancholic and politically charged house music.

Fever Ray - Fever Ray

Haunted and sensual like a kiss from Death (the character of Neil Gaiman).

Sunn O))) - Monoliths & Dimensions

More enlightened than their previous albums, but still delightfully oppressive.

Somfay - A Catch In The Voice

Aquatic techno rolling on Infinite pads.

Koudlam - Live At Teotihuacán

A lot of influences that move me and create a rather unique vision.

The Horrors - Primary Colours

A kind of epitaph to the 80s post-punk revival.

Clark - Totems Flare

Freedom at each level: production, arrangements. An album which exhale suffer, the whole thing is a kind of musical apocalypse, except form the end that would be the return to quietness with as the only survivor, the artist with a guitar to reinvent the world.
