Doctor Who Series 6, Part 2 Trailer Revealed, Air Date Confirmed

The series returns on August 27th on BBC One.

The trailer for the second half of Doctor Who's series 6 has been released.

The video features characters old and new, including River Song, the Weeping Angels, the Silence and the Impossible Astronaut.

Arthur Darvill recently revealed Doctor Who's mid-season revelation - which revealed River Pond as the child of Amy and Rory, is "nothing" compared with what's coming up.

Darvill said: "I'm so excited [about] the second half of the series that's coming up - what Steven has done is something quite brilliant - it's really going to surprise people."

The series, which took a mid season break over the summer, will return to our screens on August 27th with an episode titled 'Let's Kill Hitler'.
