Colour - Unicorns

Colour - Unicorns
Single Reviews

Odd time signatures, great harmonized singing, chanting and a catchy chorus.

Released: 27th April 2009
Reviewer: Jacob Sheppard
For a while now, Colour have been on many a radar with their take on angular math rock. It has been coming for some time, with them in a constant touring pattern with much other up-and-coming exciting new British talent.

‘Unicorns’, their first major release, shows a band who have now matured from earlier material. Having always had a knack for writing damn catchy songs, they now settle on a consistent flow.

Odd time signatures, great harmonized singing, chanting and a catchy chorus all show their faces in what is a fine example of a smart, but still very accessible, record to pop on the ol’ stereo.
