Defend Moscow - Die Tonight

It's all a bit dark, with talks of the world ending and psychological drama, but the latest single from Defend Moscow is still set to be a summer hit.Combining a male-female vocal cocktail with eighties electro-pop melodies, 'Die Tonight' is anything but miserable to listen to. Cheesey and light with unexplainable appeal, it's the polar opposite of what you might expect from the subject matter.
Bordering on bland at points but with a cheeky charm, it'll take you back to your youth with hints of Depeche Mode and The Pet Shop Boys.
'Die Tonight' makes for easy enough listening but fails to reach its full potential. Nothing to write home about.
