There’s something wonderfully sinister about this latest offering from the Leamington Spa / London four-piece, and it’s fair to say it’s cast its spell over us.

Starting off with simple direct vocals sung over an almost plinky-plonky synth; 'All Eyes' is the kind of song you might get a bit freaked out by if you were walking home alone. A short while later it breaks and starts gathering momentum towards a drop at the 45-second mark – when the beat gets really infectious. By now, if you haven’t looked behind you to check there’s no freaky puppet (as there is in their video) chasing after you, you’ll be running anyway.

As the song nears its conclusion, you’ll doubtless be more than a bit breathless by now, but at this point things get even more surreal with a Minus The Bear-style breakdown. Which is a very good thing indeed.

A little bit twisted, a whole lot warped: 'All Eyes' is like falling down a manhole and landing in a bizarre Doctor Who-style world - the perfect antidote to our reality of endless DFS adverts and Louis Walsh. Rating: 8/10
