If sparkly eyed, easily digestible indie pop is your cup of tea...

Straightforward and possibly all the better for it, the single, taken from their sixth long player ‘Earth to the Dandy Warhols’, is still a long way from anything you might find populating the latest Vodafone adverts. Instead ‘Mission Control’ is an electro clash homage to those Belgian oddities Deus. Laden with the chiming pop tinged guitars over a repetitive chorus, it’s about the closest you’ll get to wanting to dance like a robot without having to pull on that flashy sequined jumpsuit you put away at the end of the 80s. Credit where credits due, the single will most likely appeal to die hard fans above anyone else, but is a welcome diversion nonetheless.
