The Temper Trap - Science Of Fear You can’t help but warm to a band whose lead singer became distressed the other day because he lost his favourite red hat. But that’s exactly what happened to poor Dougy, frontman of slinky new Australian four piece The Temper Trap. Putting aside his recent hat grief, he launches into new track ‘Science Of Fear’ with anxiety laden vocals pushing against the spiky melody of droning bass and angular synths.

The overall result is a little bit like Bloc Party dancing around to Animal Collective against their better judgement. If jittery, edgy indie with a danceable twist is your bag, and you often secretly wished you could get up and shake your ass to Radiohead, then The Temper Trap are sure to become your new best friends any second now.
