Three Trapped Tigers - 7
Single ReviewsA multi-limbed, triple headed behemoth of a single.
Too Pure, 6th July 2009 / By Phil South
There must be some sort of world record attempt going on here, as Three Trapped Tigers attempt to cram five different tracks into one. '7' is a multi-limbed, triple headed behemoth of a single and as such sounds about as confused and directionless as is possible from three people with ears. Think of the Mars Volta at their most inaccessible and you get the idea.Sure, there are some imaginative sounds - if you ever wanted to know what it would sound like to be caught in the crossfire of an alien conflict, then you'll find your answer right here, about two minutes in. Undoubtedly there's musical talent aplenty in the band and it just needs harnessing, but Three Trapped Tigers would do well to note there was a reason that prog died out - it was rubbish.
