We Are The Ocean is an English band from Loughton, Essex. The band formed in 2007 and have since toured with such bands as The Used, Lostprophets, Underoath, Thrice, Funeral for a Friend, Fightstar and You Me at Six. The band blend many different styles but most recently have drifted away from their early sound towards a softer sound, with Dan's screams replaced with a more gravelly singing style and more emphasis placed on choruses and hooks.
